Plan a food trip through Kedah
Kedah pairs paddy-country cooking with island days. In Alor Setar, start with mee abu or bihun sup, then roti canai, roti jala and nasi kandar, and finish with laksa Kedah at Teluk Kechai. Pause at Masjid Zahir (Zahir Mosque) and Menara Alor Setar (Alor Setar Tower), or wander Pekan Rabu and Muzium Padi (Paddy Museum). Langkawi adds Pantai Cenang, the SkyCab and Sky Bridge, Kilim Karst Geoforest Park and a bowl of laksa, while Kuah's Eagle Square marks the waterfront.
